Our Treatment Programs

At IDC we take great pride in treating the individual person and not the common symptom.

Every IDC client follows a course of treatment developed and tailor made just for him or her. Our skilled team of professionals consider all the nuances and dynamics of each case and design a therapeutic program meant to allow for a seamless collaboration with the client in a manner that will empower them to help themselves with their own recovery!

How We Treat

Our treatment philosophy is built with the overarching premise that the client needs to be empowered to not only help us help them, but to also be given the tools to maintain their wellbeing on their own long after their recovery is complete.

Therefore, our treatments begin with effective planning. This includes a rigorous and comprehensive assessment to discern and learn about past and current problems. We start by listening to each individual client to understand what he or she wants out of their lives and what they are willing to do to achieve their goals, dreams, hopes and aspirations?

What skills does he or she need to help facilitate the achievement of those goals? What strengths does he or she bring to the treatment program?

We then take a close look at the totality of our client and whether their most pressing issue may be co-related to another disorder, since rarely do eating disorders, alcohol, drug addiction, or mood disorders exist in isolation or in a vacuum.

Therefore, full recovery is not possible without an integrated and holistic treatment approach that considers the important fact that these disorders are frequently, if not always, intermingled.

Once we have developed a firm baseline, we then formulate an exacting plan of healing and recovery for our client.

Our exceptional, highly qualified team of professionals includes world-class physicians, psychologists, nurses, registered dietitians, licensed social workers and counselors, yoga therapists, and recovery coaches.

These professionals incorporate the latest findings from research in the field of eating disorders, including neuroscience, genetics, and psychopharmacology, into our treatment programs.

Treatment programs offered are:

  • Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
  • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
  • Family Education/Awareness Groups
